On the 7Th September 2016, it was the 1st day of the class for Community Service Initiative class. This class was conducted by Ms. Noorseah, on the 1st day of the class she had brief us about the module outline of the subject and asked us to form a group in order to complete our task. The class was then dismissed after the brief were given. After the following week on 14th September 2016, Ms. Noorseah had given two location for the student to choose which location and organization that student would like to take part in to complete their community service. The student was separate into two groups, the first group was asked to go Persatuan Pemulihan Orang-orang Cacat Selangor & Wilayah Persekutuan (PPOC Centre) to complete their community service. Where else the second group was given the task to serve their community service at Pusat Penyayang Bakti. I and my friend had formed a group to serve our community service at Pusat Penyayang Bakti our group takes part in the outdoor task.
On the 20th September 2016, Ms. Noorseah had invited Mr. Max to join in our class to lead the group of student that plans to serve their community service at Pusat Penyayang Bakti. More detail, picture, and brief were given by Ms. Noorseah and Mr. Max of what are the work and task that we need to do for exterior and interior group. On the 18th October 2016, our leader Yii Min had asked us to send our proposal of furniture that would be suitable for outdoor use and to present to the lecturer on the 19th October 2016 to get approval from both lecturers. Below shown image is the proposal that I sent to my group leader as my proposal for outdoor furniture. (Refer Figure 1) Although my proposal was not being approved but it was worth to give it a try better than doing nothing. Both lecturers had given their feedback about our proposal and decide to ask us to proceed with the bench design and the DIY Outdoor Flower Pot that was proposed by our group member. (Refer Figure 2)

Everyone supposed to meet up at a member house at 3pm to purchase material but I was late to meet up with them due to missing the train and the delay of the train that I took. I reach the location at around 4pm it was my mistake I should had planned better my time but fortunately, we manage to buy the plants and material that we need on that day itself. (Refer Image 4)

29th October 2016, after purchased all the material need we had gathered at the campus to make the DIY Flower Pots around 10 in the morning and finish at 8 in the night. Each member was asked to collect at least seven 1.5ltr empty bottles for making the DIY Flower Pots. Before making the flower pots all bottles that we had collected are need to clean up with water (Refer Figure 5) and wait for it to dry before drilling holes and cutting holes on the empty bottles. (Refer Figure 6) Next, all bottle that had been drill and cut out holes are then sent to spray paint color on it for aesthetic look.(Refer Figure 7) Finally, each of the bottles is tied onto the rope in order to be able to hang it at the site.(Refer Figure 8) It might look to be easy to do but it was in fact took us a long time to finish it up the DIY Flower Pots this is because of some of the empty mineral water bottles that we collected the material are too soft and not easy to control. However, we as a group are satisfied with the thing that we had done on the day. My task in the group is to help clean up the bottle, make sure the water bottle is dry, cutting out the water bottle holes using pen knife and to organize the water bottle by color for them to tie onto the rope.

Before we start to install all the items we start to remove the grass that grows are long and also rubbish that were left on the ground. (Refer Figure 9) After cleaning partial of the ground we start to take out all the materials and plants to start doing installing. We separate into two group of five people each, one of the groups taking care of doing the outdoor bench where else the other group taking care of doing DIY Flower Pots by planting the plant we bought into the plastic bottles. (Refer Figure 10) It was a hot weather that day but we manage to fulfill our job at the site. We took a lot of effort to do the outdoor bench and DIY Flower Pots, while we were doing some of the people at Pusat Penyayang Bakti also came to observe and lend a hand to help us during the process of installation. It was tiring but it felt good that we had beautified the garden and we hope that the people there would like it. Finally, I had a lot of fun and enjoy doing this community service especially working with a group of fantastic people between it felt great that I did some meaningful contribution help out in the center. The final look of the outdoor bench and DIY Flower Pots had been install at the site and all of us are happy we the final outcome. (Refer Figure 11)
